I haven't been on here for a while and i thought this was a good time since it's been a year now since my surgery.
Some of you will remember that last January I had my triple hindfoot fusion. I'd been suffering with pain for a few years and my walking had become comprimised.
Good news. I have little to no pain now whilst walking and I no longer limp

I still have to remember not to over-do things as it's still early days. But I am now back to work ( pet carer and lunchtime supervisor at our local primary school). The operation was a 'biggie' I was in a cast for 16 weeks and the hardest part was not doing anything. But to anyone who is waiting for this operation or similar, it has been life changing for me...One little blip though, is I'm now suffering more with my wrists, but I'm not trying to think too hard about them YET
